Mine was like that also. I didn't change it as the fit with the hull was great. Maybe call Joe at Zippkits to see f a change is needed before you start to cut into it.

I don't understand your post. Please clarify what you mean about the stated capacities of the servos. Servos run on voltages up to 6V for most standard ones, or allow 7.2 for the high voltage...
