I think it's a more low power for the comp p51(in first i mount a zenoah 62)
a simple DLE55 with a canister but i think it's ok for a lite contruction (15 kgs)
I want to build my p51 with cheap...

I used 2 screw M5 to fixe two parts of wing
2 M5 screw in front of assembled wings
2 M6 screw in rear

many P51 during WW2 had not fairing on
special yellow tip on the blade

(see past page of this forum) the wings are on prepaint ,I ordered the tailormade nomenclature...

I think it's a zenoah 62 on your photo (i'm sure)
i have the same motor with electronic ignition in my p51

My Stab tube Diameter :16.12 mm/0.635 Inch for in Theory: 16 mm/0.630 inch
It's normal for the fuse you do sand it
but it's a problem for the stab you should change it

i think it's possible put a piece of ply wood under when you heat
i'm sure you could heat with hot air gun with low temperature or hair drier
the fin structure ismade in sandwich with styro ...

Do you have other photos from the top view
it's result of bad storage
normally a mould piece remmember his form if you heat softly he can go back
there have not reinforcement in back...

i found a piece of alu cast industriel profil for rack
for aircylinder i think 5" is good mine...
