The real reason is lack of local support. People come in, look around to see what they want and then go home and order it online to save 50 cents.

Here is one little tidbit of info you will love. I ordered a 33% 100cc Ulty from Aeroworks a while back. When it arrived it said World Models on it... and it also had an Airborne Models sticker on...

The module systems are slower because the signal has to be converted to digital from analog. The dedicated radios are all digital and give you the faster latency. The module systems are not the way...

I used to fly JR 9303 on 53mhz but switched last year to a DX7. I immediately felt the difference in the latency... the reaction time from stick input to control surface movement can easily be felt...

Sure go ahead and use a common battery... and one wing bolt is all you really need... why waiste the time putting in 2... not to mention the weight of an extra wing bolt

2.4 is NOT bullet proof...
