RE: 4-Stroke fuel for a 2-stroke?

Should be fine. Generally the only difference about 4 stroke fuel is that most, if not all the oil is synthetic. This is because the 4 strokes have problems with gumming up of the valves by using...

RE: Irvine .46 settings

It sounds like the low end is a bit rich, try leaning the low end a small amount. If it splutters and spits out raw fuel when opening the throttle its too rich.

RE: Tuned pipe question/s

For tuned mufflers, check out www.jettengineering.com for Jett-Stream mufflers, and also www.pspec.com for Ultrathrust mufflers.
Both these mufflers are what you want for a 3D type model, they are...

RE: Tuned pipe question/s

I flew a 3D type model recently which had a rossi 45 on a full length pipe. To be honest it was a dog to fly.
It had a huge amount of power, it was just throttling which was no good. From idle up...

RE: Am I over revving?

13k RPM is fine, that engine should be able to stand upwards of 16k without too many problems

I started off flying RC models when I was about 11, now I'm 16 and I have just flew solo the other day, full-size. It only seemed natural progression to give full size a go, which I did last year,...

RE: Old liner plus new piston?

Thanks for the replys,

Yes, I forgot to mention why I need to replace the piston as well as the ring, and that was because the piston has a piece missing near the top of it. It came out while...

I have a Super Tigre G90 which needs a new piston and ring. The liner appears to be fine, no scratches or anything, but I would like to know if the liner needs replacing as well.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question, does the OS 91fx have the same mounting bolt pattern as the ST G90? If not, are they out by much?

Cheers,

A question regarding power to weight would be more useful, in which case 1:1 is required for hovering.

RE: Blade EPP plane help, please.

Use the rudder on these things to turn. If you try and fly them like a normal plane with alieron and elevator, it just doesnt work. Learn how to use the rudder, and you will find they fly a lot...

RE: AXI 2212/26 vs 2212/34

With the 2212/34, you will be able to swing a bigger prop, because it is not as 'hot' as the 26. A 11x4.7 seems to be the right size prop for the 2212/34 for 3D flying, and this would provide more...
