Yes running 4s, seems to be plenty of power for what I do. The new motor definitly is stronger than stock and it handles good. Great traction with the larger tires, handles the rough stuff much...

Lol I guess it wasn't to tight then,I don't know of an aftermarket slipper. You could install the aluminum pads from the brushless E Maxx but I haven't had an issue with the stock ones you just have...

Are your supension links in the stock (middle) holes on the A Arms? You don't want the shafts binding at full extension. I have not broke any Summit shafts yet butI have on the E Revo and E maxx but...

Cool, I've had an RX8 system in one of mine since the beginning and as you know now huge improvement over stock. Boat loads of power but still smooth as silk at crawling around the rough. Have fun...

Update, I installed the RC Monster Hot Bodies D8 motor mount and aMamba Monster 2200kv motor, you have to slightly modify the receiver box screw boss removing some material to make room for the motor...

Got the Desperados and Badlands mounted up and took it for a spin, awesome traction now. The roost isimpressive under power lol,handles great and on 4s still with stock gearing the motor temp got up...

What's powering your Mini T? You can make them very fast with a brushless system and lipos. I have one with a Tekin mini rage system that I can run on 3 and 4s and there's no lack of power or speed...

Check your slipper clutch, maybe it's loose and slipping to much. That would give off the smoke you seen and make it not run normally....

Everything I run has a 4 pole motor andI have alot of them but I won't run the 2650 on 4s, I would go with a lower kv if I went that route. As far as speed and power I'm only trying to satisfy...

The weight though they advertize is without electronics, I don't know if that's kit roller weight before you add the servo, motor, esc, battery but if it is it's going to weigh alot more than 4.9#....

The Novak I'm pretty sure is a high kv550 motor so it would be quite different from the vxl, on the Axial website the minimum recommendation is for a 4 pole 540 motor like the Pro 4 or SCT 3800 so...

I sent an email asking what power system, battery config and finalweightthey were running in the video, hopefully they will respond with the info to give us an idea of what to expect....
