RE: Wish I had the money for one of these tanks!

All you have done Turbo Burns, is post exactly what Lamps was answering on his website and for which he also gave a direct link to, so the guys clearly not hiding anything. I wonder why you only post...

RE: Airbrushes?

Hi Dazman,
I have the Badger Anthem and an Iwata Revolution TR-1. Both very good airbrushes and I'd recommend them to anyone. The Iwata is perfect for intricate detailing and the Anthem is used for...

RE: Tiger grey - what to use in the UK?

You could maybe use the Sea Grey paint to go very lightly over the panzer grey once you have that coat on, depending on how light it is in comparison to the panzer grey, it would highlight the raised...

RE: what do you think of this 1/8 full metal sherman m4a3

That's the best large scale Sherman I have seen so far, very nicely done.

RE: Airbrush question

I use the Iwata Revolution TR-1 and a Badger Anthem for all my painting. The Iwata is the better for small detailed work but I don't like using enamels in my pride and joy so I have the badger for...

RE: What's your favoured Dremel-like tool?

I have been using the rotorcraft one and I'm not too impressed with it, it vibrates because it's slightly off centre and that seems to be a common problem as I had replaced it in the past due to...

RE: Ordered first TAMIYA Tank

Personally I'd like to hear about any tank build be it RC or Static because the principles behind painting. weathering, detailing are the same across the board whether it moves or not, so these...

RE: Decisions, decisions

I ordered a Trumpeter T-34 85 Static model yesterday, also a Static 1/35 Cromwell with detail set and a 1/24 Stuka, just to keep me busy in the new year and later in the year I'll get myself a 1:6...

RE: Forum needs some new life------

It's a nice idea BIGMIG and would add the variety needed to stop the forum from going round in circles, maybe it could be renamed to RC Military ground vehicles to encourage this posting of more...

RE: wacky's WSN T-34/85 project

Wacky Thanks for the information on the differences, I think I'll get the static model first so I can see just how far I could take it with the RC version, your info was perfect and made my choice...

RE: PARK SHERMAN, AGAIN

That's very nice, I'd volunteer myself to paint that if I lived close by, that would be requiring a few pots of Tamiya Acrylic [X(] ;)

RE: wacky's WSN T-34/85 project

Excellent stuff there Wacky.
I am so tempted with one of these tanks myself, how do they compare with the static ones where the detail is concerned, from the pictures I got off google the static...

RE: Bulldog Progress

Sorry, crossed posts.
The paint should be available everywhere, it's just ordinary artists oil paint from a tube. Not that artists are ordinary, it's the paint I am referring to [X(] I think it...

RE: Bulldog Progress

Thanks chaps,

Pattoncommander, the paint that's taking so long is oil (W&N) and linseed oil. It's just about dry now but I wouldn't risk another coat for at least another 2 weeks, if I do change...

Just thought I should upload some pictures of the progress on the HL WB. There's a few bits still needed but I don't really want to spend out on this model, like the HL Tiger I used it for a...
