What kind of rpms are you getting with that OS120? With a 10 pitch prop and assuming 100% efficiency, it would have to be turning 12,672 rpm in the air to get to 120mph...

I'd use a plastic clevis or plastic ball link connector. A metal clevis isn't needed for strength and using a plastic connection eliminates this as a possible trouble spot for interference.

I would not go with a 91 in this plane. I have a Saito 100 in mine and consider it to be marginal. Plus, a lot of weight will be needed up front with a 91. A 120 would work much better.

I put a cork in the exhaust and a plug in the vent line at the field before heading home and there is no gas odor issue either in the car or at home.

Hi Bob,

According to the chart in the FAQ on the RCShowcase website, those symptoms indicate a lean condition on the carb "L" mixture. Perhaps richen the "L" mixture a tiny amount.

I put heavy fiberglass cloth and epoxy where the firewall meets the fuselage on the inside. It provided a lot of extra strength.
