RE: E-flite Blade 400 why so special?

RE: FP goes left - AARGHHHH!!!!!!!

yeah, you'll need a pitch gauge for cp stuff - mainly to make sure all the variables you add when going from fp to cp are dealt with - add to that a big radio and you've now gained the ability to...

RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

oh great video, and the coolest (in more ways than one lol) - the snowstorm reminds me again why i live in alabama now (besides my knees aching when the weather changes)

RE: Roll Adjustment

then its in the setup somewhere, so i'd say its time for a disassemble and rebuild - break it down to the swash and check for busted stuff, bent shafts and rods, etc

just a thought, be sure to...

RE: FP goes left - AARGHHHH!!!!!!!

hey solo and j-michael - i flew the king2 again this afternoon on a cpp lipo - oh so nice and fun to fly - set the pitch up a little so you don't bang it into the ground in normal at below half...

RE: Blade 400 Seesaw Holder?

esky king 2 is about the same length - have to replace both and probably will have to fiddle the pitch links to fit the slightly smaller balls - try using one end of the king 2 pitch link and one end...

RE: Differences between coaxial or tail rotor

yep, good job solo - i couldn't have said it better myself - i could also add coaxial = fun and flight time (and wind and turning issues and clack attacks), while single rotor = money, setup, money,...

RE: BLADE 400 questions

i took the 400 out just now for a batt doing some scale flying through the glass - nice tail control with the dx7 set at 69% - i'd like a little more dead band in forward flight, but it'll do for...

RE: E-flite Blade CX2 Trim Problem

RE: Charger for Blade 400

you can also spring for a real lipo balancing charger like a cellpro or align 3cx - makes the batts last longer too

RE: FP goes left - AARGHHHH!!!!!!!

you'll get it - dialing it in helps a lot - center of gravity (cg) dead on the center of the shaft, swashplate dead level - flybar perfectly parallell and dead centered

if you can fly for a...

RE: Thrust "Pops"

another source for 'sticky collective' is the spindle shaft and how the grips move under thrust - each grip's bearing group should be surrounded by two 'step washer's (one on either side), with the...

RE: FP goes left - AARGHHHH!!!!!!!

yay! - now you can get a king2, unless you want to go for a 400 (or a falcon 3d if you are a masochist)

since all the stores are empty, you can develop more patience

belt driven tail,...

RE: Roll Adjustment

i think you've just discovered gyroscopic progression - don't sweat it unless it the heli is flying forward or backward as well as sideways - same thing on the cp if you wind it up near takeoff and...

RE: Struggling with Single Rotor basics

i just flew the fp for the first time in awhile - you are right, it is a bit twitchy once it gets in the rotor wash - then just for kicks and so the motors didn't freeze up since i haven't used it in...

RE: Struggling with Single Rotor basics

good luck! - i wonder what blades you're using? - falcon 40's? - the esky hbfp blades were a bit too heavy for me and i changed to walkera 4#4's - you can also add another collar to the flybar next...
