I was just told by customer service at OS the the problem is the 40j carb, the newer 55's have a 40K carb, changed them out now no problem. I have tried 3 different pitts mufflers and the stock one...

I used a belt driven vacum pump off of a Ford disel pickup runs continuous no problems, ford expects them to 100,000 miles with no problems so bagging model parts shouldn't be aproblem forever

I ran an old revup 7X5N pylon prop on one of my XLS 15's a couple of months ago and was able to turn it up to 21,300 with 20% sig fuel, runs almost as good as my old Rossi quaret midget 15 engines

I have 2 QM HE-100s with FX25's in them and 1 with a webra speed 25, they fit pretty easy. The webra powered one was clocked at 121 mph this past summer, I think they would be great small size racers
