RE: Saito FG36

Going to try a few more things before I get one but the CH unit sounds like the right choice. This method of tuning reads interesting regardless of the emphasis on 2 stroke engines and not like...

RE: Saito FG36

G'day Kim, 150 mls to 3 lts of premium fuel is the blend I'm using, 20 to 1. If I were to richen the high speed half a turn, I'd lose about 1000 revs. I reckon over the last 3 days there's not a...

RE: Saito FG36

Yep followed tuning instructions to the letter. I'm not one to give up but man I've had my fill of this engine. I took advantage of a higher Aussie dollar and purchased the engine from the US. I...

RE: Saito FG36

Thanks, w8ye, I'm confident the fuel set up is all ok so that leaves the electrics. I've sent for a new plug for starters, any ideas on ignition testing DIY ? Thanks again.

100" Big Stik Saito FG36

G'day all, I'm building a 100" Big Stik off a Don Anderson/Mike Smith Plan. I'm in the process of fitting a Saito FG36 to it. Is there a way of disconnecting the high tension wire from the plug...

RE: 100 inch Big Stik

Thanks for the info Harley. I'm tempted to get a Saito FG36, that should be OK for the job aye? The 8411 you mentioned have 15 kg of pull, is'nt that a bit of over kill? Regards, John.

RE: cm pro katana 50

If I was to put a pull pull set up I would do away with the twin elevator servos and just use 1. This would drive a bell crank with wires to the elevator halves. Good luck with the plane and I...

RE: cm pro katana 50

Having the servos in the horizontal position spreads the load over the their entire length. Positioned vertically the load is forced against their width which allows alot of flex. The Saito 72 has...
