Hey guys,
I would like to join this brotherhood. I have always had a cub of some size in my hanger. My latest is a Balsa USA 1/4 scale made into a AE-1. There is a pilot and patient in a stretcher....

Thanks for the info, I am going to contact the Piper Museum. I have lots of pics of AE-1 but nothing that shows the inside of the hatch very well or the hinge and latch.

I am working on a Balsa USA 1/4 Cub making it in to the J5 AE-1. I am looking for Information on the back hatch layout, hinge points, latches and suport bar. Any drawings schematics...
