That is a Hopf Monte Carlo Evo I epoxy-glass hull
7 subC cells and a K series 37.5mm prop is a good starting point.

why trim the plates, why not first try trim the attitude of the drive first with MHZ's Trimax 2...

the gearbox is a precision-machined jewel. Low losses. However, a G-26 should really make this thing go. The gearbox was designed to take Pollini-type horsepower (10 +):

The Speedmaster S6 drive is $350 +SH, the gearbox is around $255 +SH...
There is no substitute :D
