Has anyone out there bothered to build their own fuel cut-off timer? If you're into a low budget project and don't want to spend some $40 on eBay or something ;)

The fuel tank is made from a small bottle that once had mineral oil in it... found it under the bathroom sink. Tested it for diesel fuel and it's ok..... the tubing is from ball pens, they are also...
