I agree the original .15 and 2.5 are weak and the 3.3 is stronger, that is why I upgraded mine to the extent that I did. Russ

Or you could buy the spare all metal gears that I have. I have all the metal gearing for a stock t-maxx tranny except the topshaft, 1st and 2nd, you had to spend big money to have the OTB 1st an 2nd...

What engine is on the t-maxx, any engine bigger than a .21 or so is gonna tear the stock tranny gears up due to power and tourqe.
I had the same issue when I built my conversion t-maxx with .26...

Sorry to jump in like this, but what is the "zen7"? I have seen this phrase a few times now. Is it a modded zenoah by someone or is it a manufacturer race engine. Sorry but I am just curious.
