ITs the Wheel Hex for Volcano SV Qty 4. Part Number: 08065

Seems maybe its too close/tight to the steering hub and might be causing the diif to not spin properly.

Actually I'm probably just gonna park it for now as I still have the Tornado EPX and either get a second Tornado (So both of the kids have a car) or get a brushless system for the current Tornado or...

Ok looks like the rear diff is gone and one of the gears in the center box. Also this gear is plastic? So looks like maybe the rear diff gave out and then this gear was stripped because of it.

Heh no pic or video but we took it to the local mall parking lot and ended up stripping one of the gears. :)

ended up filled with snow under the body. The only thing you could see was the engine cooling fins :D Good times.

I had the same problem and it was the stock battery which didn't fully charge. I also bought a second 3000mh battery and when charged with a Hot Bodies charger the car worked. I took me three charges...

Is there any company that makes gas tanks for rc cars? I want more millage. I don't know the mechanics behind the nitro car gas tanks but look like a much taller tank can be put into the Volcano.

Yah was thinking about that plus it needs to be wider or stiffer shocks. It runs like a Ford Explorer on the highway. When it wheelies off the ramp it usually catches on the body and that makes it...

I take the truck out and tell the kids you neeed to learn to control it first and take it slow driving till you have good control, then when the're not looking I hammer the truck :P Good times!

Well thats it for more videos till next week. The Volcano did some curbage at almost full speed and broke one of the suspension arms and the esc finally gave out on the Tornado.

Well weird things are happening. I went to the hobby shop and automagically it started to work again. I then ran it for a while and looks like the car got all wet from the snow so now nothing works...

Hmm not sure what happened here but I ran the car for 5 min today and then when the battery was recharged I plugged it back in but the only the steering servo works now and no motor action. I tried...

The Volcano video is kinda crappy as the camera was set to tele photo and seems the lens sucks quite bad at that length. I'll have to get a different camera and re do that shot. I can make it do...
