RE: Vess Balance Ring, Anygood?

I don't think $30 is very much when you are talking about a plane that costs thousands. My time is worth more than that. But hey, I hear paper dolls are an inexpensive hobby if thats what you're...

RE: Vess Balance Ring, Anygood?

Well, I really don't know how anyone could argue with that. Perhaps Vess should go to the trouble of making the appropriate measurements in order to deter these kinds of debates, and convince...

RE: Vess Balance Ring, Anygood?

Just because I don't choose to scratch build my own planes doesn't not make me incapable, nor does it diminish my admiration for the craftmanship involved. To suggest otherwise is insulting and...

RE: Vess Balance Ring, Anygood?

By the way, my new location is top secret. You have to have the super duper, tippy top, VIP with connections, clearance to get that info. ;) I'm on the move again in April too. Here is a hint, the...

RE: Vess Balance Ring, Anygood?

I use the VBR and I like it. It is easy to use with a Dubro prop balancer and a Sharpie.

Just another new product that is cost effective, weight negligible, works as advertised and gives FOGs...

RE: 46 and 60 Extra 260 Freestyle! VIDEO ADDED!!

Thank you for responding Rocco. Congratulations on your success. I am having a hard time with my .40, it's really pitchy. The CG is about 4 1/8 as per the manual, maybe 4.25. What are you calling...

Also, I like triple rates too, although I rarely use the bottom two after I get used to the plane. I set mine for High, Really High and What...

RE: EP LR1A Pogo

I like the foam core wing! Hurry up and get that thing flying.

I wish I could make it down to Woodburn to see the Pogo but, alas, I am too busy. I do work sometimes, contrary to popular belief!...

RE: Evolutions New Muffler Thanks to Jett Engineering

You guys need to put these engines and pipes on some pylon racers or something. They won't be very good on a Twist at all. They might be really cool on a warbird as long as you had a runway about a...

RE: Evolutions New Muffler Thanks to Jett Engineering

Where are you getting those thrust numbers? Most of the thrust you will want is at low rpm if you are in high alpha flight. 15k really doesn't do much for 3D. As I've mentioned, a 12 X 7 S2 Scimitar...
