RE: Official XTM Monster MT Thread

I think rclynx and Mr. Terminator both make some good points.

rclynx, I recognize you help out a lot of people here and don't want to be disrespectful, but I have to disagree with your position...

RE: Zen 27.2 From O`Neill`s

Hey Guys,

Just FYI the Darksoul engines are being assembled by CC Racing Engines with custom porting and use billet cases. The price is steep but from all I've heard so far, as RC engines go,...

RE: Deciding which vehicle to go with. Help!

Out of curiosity, why did you remove the Baja SS from your list?

It's just as if not more durable than anything else in your list, can be much faster when modded, has 10x better build quality,...

RE: questions about savage

CatLover,

Here are some important things to consider:

RE: Official XTM Monster MT Thread

@ NitroMMT

Go through your user manual and look in the section that talks about adjusting the shift speed on the transmission. On many MMT's, the factory adjustment is for some reason set to a...

RE: Kyosho F430 Inferno GT

I'm hoping for the sake of your wallet you meant to say you've just "Broken in" your Inferno GT!

RE: One or two steering servos?

Guys, thanks for your suggestions.

I ended up ordering a single JR Z9100T and will give that a try once it comes in. I think that moving to a single GOOD servo is the best bet since it provides...

RE: One or two steering servos?

Haha, yes that was a clean truck. It's not actually mine, however. That's the custom MMT someone won from XTM when they held their video contest last year. Let's just say it was very hopped up...

RE: One or two steering servos?

Thanks for the reply ThermalRD.

I haven't read a bunch about the Z650M, but it's good to know they do have some sort of reputation (in this case bad). I'll be sure to steer clear of those. I...

One or two steering servos?

I am going to need to replace the two steering servos in my XTM Monster MT soon, since the stock ones are twitching pretty badly. I've localized the cause of the twitching to the servos themselves,...

RE: XTM Mammoth RTR Monster Truck

Dude, did you read what I wrote in your other thread?

The Mammoth is a waste of money, honestly. It needs a LOT of upgrades to be durable enough for serious bashing. If all you're going to do...

RE: Official XTM Monster MT Thread

Hey guys,

Is it me, or are a lot of the XTM hop-ups for the MMT a little overpriced relative to other MT brands?

For example, it would cost you $149.88 to "upgrade" to the 3.5mm shaft...
