Having heavy weight oil inside the differential has absolutely no effect on the ring and pinion. The only gears that see that oil are the spider/bevel gears.

Haha, yes that was a clean truck. It's not actually mine, however. That's the custom MMT someone won from XTM when they held their video contest last year. Let's just say it was very hopped up...
