so did you drill and insert a dowel for these horns i have the same ones both small and medium size and am planning on using them...my plan was to insert a 3/8's dowel in each surface to reinforce...

so tony how did the elvevator torque rod work for you...are you getting much flex between the two halfs using it...i finally have received all my orders from various places....going with the rudder...

Flip 3D (covering)

does anyone know what brand of covering is on this airplane?

i have a whole roll of clear monokote...and if i can get the heat necessary to apply it i will use it to seal my hinge lines...

are you using the rods or the strips....i have heard of reinforcing with the strips during building prior to covering, but have not seen it done before...how would you attach it and make it look...

thanks for that info.....the only problem i figured i would have would be flutter from the cable....i have used pull pull systems several times but i have never had near this much of the cable...

in what way are you putting in "1 step" to see this difference.....if it is using the trim tabs on the transmitter then depending on which transmitter you are using it could be up to 6-10 steps per...

tower hobbies sells this plane...towerhobbies.com ..but the best pics were posted here on this site of the plane prebuilt.....kyosho.com has a nice pic of in-flight...i do not see the flying wires on...

any ideas on why the flip3d manual is having you mount the 4 strokes at 90 degrees and the 2 strokes inverted...i am going with the saito 72 on this plane and am planning on inverting it...
