I've got a DT-10 and an EK-4...

The DT-10 is upgraded with an OS engine, goes like a violated ape and the EK-4 is more or less stock...but I haven't managed to get it to run 100%...

Either make your own out of some kind of hard/heavy paper or check www.ehobbies.com if they have some...
I think you could try and get a gasket for a OS engine or another side exhaust otherwise...

Hom many litres/gallons of fuel have you run through the engine? If you have driven your car alot, the engines might need a new piston/sleeve...

Side exahust...and I'd take the CVEC .15 model, the .18 series engines are basically rebored .12/.15 engines...

Depends, do you want torque or horse power? I'm using a CVEC pipe and an AE side exhaust header for my OS .15 CV-R (that engine truly rips!)

I'd recommend a good .15 or a .18 engine, that would be MUCH easier to adapt (nothing to do really as long as it is rotary carb, otherwise it will require different throttle linkage)...a rear exhaust...

OFNA doen't really make anything, they just relabel Hong-Nor and HoBao stuff...that truck there are the Hong-Nor MegaLith relabeld as a Jamara instead of OFNA...

It splits the signal...IE, if you connect two servos via a Y-split to a reciver, both the servos are on the same channel and they do exactly the same thing...

Tower has Y-splits...your LHS...

It's not really impossible, you just need to have the right amout of fuel in the engine and the cylinder at the right height...
