That grey unit is a spitting image of the redmax/zenoah it shouldn't be surprising however as the Ryobi die casting plant is owned or in joint operation with Komatsu/Zenoah.

Yup.Its called overdrive.You need 3 gears to maintain output rotation the proper direction,or you have to find not only reverse rotation props but a cable wound the other direction.gear overdrive box...

All the glitz and glamour parts don't make the boat run any faster or any better,time after time I see kids dump good money on chrome junk and then skimp on the parts they need to make their stuff...

25% is possible,all depends where in rpm range you measure and to what other pipe you compare it to.The best source for info on the CVEC pipe is them or the guy who designed it.

Its tunable to application without cutting it up,it produces more power than regular pipe when its tuned PROPERLY,the CVEC pipe has never been given a proper test in boats to show its true...

Where did you see the vids?
A hot rodded GX31 is good for 35+ in a boat with a decent bottom.
The GX25 is good also,but they have thin walls on intake port which limits how far you can open port...
