yea, i didnt mean overly lean. i mean leaned to peak rpm. rich enough to not sag after it gets hot. max rpm, not max melt down.

did Duke run them WFO? (wide freaking open) or 65%?

i dont mean run till it gives up. i dont want to hurt the engine. i mean befor it does damage. if its got proper lube, not ran lean, not over speed with too small of a prop, what would it hurt?...

thanks for the info, but this is on a 46. no low speed needle :P have to file a small radius on the slot on the barrel i thought.

using leaf blower to un-load prop.

think it would help unload the prop a little? i dont know how fast a wind it makes, no doubt at least 60 mph.

No Sir. its a old 46.

id like to have some of fox's fuel 5% nitro and 20% casotor. but it just cost too much. its cheaper to buy castor adn add it. thank you for your math :)

heres what i have one gallon, 5%nitro 18% total oil. of the oil, 80% is synthetic and 20% is castor. i have 8 OZ of medical castor that im going to add, what will that make the oil percentages?
