RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

Everyone always asumes that it will need more power - but it really doesn't. I'm only running a HPI K4.6 and it has plenty of power. I was considering moving-up to a HPI 5.9, but I've read varying...

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

RE: Polaris RMK modding.

What size pinion did you use?

I too just bought one of these and it is horrible. So I gut it and am now considering options.

Everyone else seems to modify the larger New Brite ones...

RE: Blade 400 - Tips, tricks, and mods

Carljw is correct.
Another possible cause of wobble could simply be that one of the main blade bolts is tighter than the other.
It is common for new fliers to either have these too loose or...

RE: Blade 400 - Tips, tricks, and mods

That's normal - the servo is twitching like that because the gyro is doing it's job, sensing any movement and working to keep the tail straight.

RE: Blade 400 - Tips, tricks, and mods

The Blade 400 is far superior in every respect to the Belt CP. I have had both. I started with the Belt CP and several servos failed while simply hovering. The tail servo is much more difficult to...

RE: let's see those B400 pics.

Thx. The crash was me trying to do my first loop in normal mode by completely cutting the power at the top of the loop. Didn't work like it did in RF3.5.... :)

Ya, the rear skid support is on...

RE: Blade 400 - Tips, tricks, and mods

I thought I'd share some pics of my modified Blade 400. (hopefully the pics show...)
It started life as a reject - a defective servo caused someone to return it to the manufacturer. It then...

RE: Belt CP; Trex 450 Tool and Part Compatibility

The only personal part interchange experience I have for the Belt CP (so far) is...

Blade 400 main gear with one-way bearing fits and works perfectly.
Blade 400 main rotor blades fly really...
