I put my lipos in a lunch bag. my boat gets water in it too, from the hatch that isnt sealing to well.

Yes you can runemaxx esc; thats what I am using. Just have to take off the heat sinks and add the optional water cooling kit from traxxas. Only difference is that you dont have a mounted on/off...

you can always be cheap, use traxxas 2075. more torque than stock jr, and water proof too!!! there is the old stand by, hitec 645 or even better 5645!

if ur using stock radio gear, change ur crystals. I had three difefernt jr systems in last ten years, all have done that at some point. changed the crystals, stopped. try that

I would try to find a good used losi 1.0, rc8, d8, or jammin x1cr. put money into good motor/pipe and servos. might be a little more than 300, but in the long run, you'll want better
servos/radio...
