I prefer Wankel bacause it no vibration glow/gas engine and i will use Oly E420 DSLR on this plane. But Wankel have no vibration at 50...100% throtle, and low vibration wen idle...50%. Very nice...

Now i chenge new landing gears (+4 inch higher) and reduce elevator D/R and gyros-off on start - as result - normal take-off and fine landing

Today i test my WASP SPAD modified - with pussher wankel + APS 9x6P

This Idea is to use Wasp as DSLR carrier (Oly E-420 14-42 mm = 640 g weight).

Wankel - small motor 450 g weight, 2.3 kg thrust (2.5 without mufler). U can use it on plane 800-1000 mm wingspan.... I think, that Your wife look over it))))))))) ;)

Well

This is radio-mix V-tail with both elevator and rudder functions. Ailerons - with flapperon functions/ I use Futaba 351 Gyros on ailerons in Mercury-1 and -2 planes. All 4 wheels are fixed.
