RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

That is correct. You keep the 4in1. There is a white wire from TheStever converter that connects to the fet output from you 4in 1. The BL main will run separately and you don't need to change that.

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

You must be a proud owner of a BL Falcon, what a tremendous job. Taking that extra step out of your comfort zone really paid off, hip hip horay. The tail must be responding so well that it feels like...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I have a BL main and the Losi 10,250kv holds the tail with tons of power to spare. If anybody is interested, I am hoping to add this kit in my Brushless store for $59 in about 2-3 weeks. I am running...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

This is photo of a fully equiped Falcon 40/DF 4#1/Sabre. I've reinforced the stock frame back bone and made a practically indestructable frame. The round tubular edge part is from a broken frame...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Navy1, I have modified 2 of my Falcon/DF4#1 frame to what I call SuperFrame. It cost nothing and is done by plastic fusion. If you are interested I can post a picture. I haven't had to replace any...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

What is the weight of the BL Blue Arrow tail motor? The BL Losi 10,250kv weights 9.4g and is what I believe to be one of the lightest BL motor for the tail. It provides stunning tail authority with...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

If you don't want the endless tail motor headaches, go BL. It is the best way, there is no good tail motor that will last due to the size of the brushes. I did after owning several FP. Feels like the...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Never have a lockout issue with my DX7. I heard some of the carbon frame helis are having lockout problems, particularly the Trex 500CF. The carbon frame acts as a conductor for the noise. Check to...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I fly this little bird about 50 feet with the cap, with that distance the interference is particularly noticeable and it is practically unflyable. I have tried grounding the motor casing which helps...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

A different perspective on BL.

Guys, if you are getting bored having only one type of FP flyer, you got to experience the BL tail mod. It flies completely different sort of like a bee verses a...

I did not reveal the One-Stop store here since I don't want people to think it's for the money. Yes, I have opened a one-stop BL store, last week. Hope you guys here don't mind me posting my link to...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Great work. Huum, Hextronic BL ESC? I will be suprised if it works for the tail, if it does it will be the second BL ESC that I know of that can control the tail. Keep us posted. I admire people wha...

Soul, so glad that you have unleashed the flying monster out of the Falcon. Mission accomplished. Great job, you are keeping the FP on the cutting edge. You have worked so hard and now it's pay day....

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

That is fine, I am out of most everything until the end of this week. I am doing this as a hobby to help people to go BRUSHLESS, it's not really a business. You will be very happy with the worry-free...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Correct me if I am wrong. All the guys flying the Century tail have never tried BL for the tail. There is a clear difference when you fly in windy condition aside from the durability. Also the $8.95...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

UTM, I know that this has be said before but if you bite the bullet and go BL, it should last a life time. I have never had a BL motor go bad. Go to http://thesteve.ca/walkera/ and get yourself a $15...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Having to put in right stick and right rudder trim has little to do with gyro gain pot which I assume is what you are trying to adjust. Usually if you turn a pot and it stops that it does not work...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Everything you said is true. All I am saying is that with the Falcon you can take a little more risk but with the 450 one should stick with Radds closely. Sometimes a being a little more aggressive...
