Upper main bearing stabilizer

I designed and built high speed (up to 100K rpm) powere, surgical instruments for many years. We always used a wave washer against the inner or outer race on ball bearings. This keeps the bearing...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Thanks, will give that a try. A new frame is only $6 but the time to put it together could take some planning.

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Joizeex,

I have the Sonix head and am very pleased with the feel and quality. As for parts Jeff, linked me to this page:...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Thanks Dave, I appreciate your input.

I had forgotten about the problems that Rusty had pointed out for the HBKIII radio stuff so have taken that off my list. I am checking out the Walkera but...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Joizeex,

Thanks for reminding me. I believe you are correct that Rusty mentioned a lot of problems. I will check out the Walkera and keep looking.

I think the problem is a renovated fire...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

I am going to have to make the move to 2.4 if I want to fly three of my birds. I cannot get around the interference on the 72 channel no matter what I try. My single 2.4 CX2 has no problems. So, my...

RE: CX2 servo linkage

Thanks, I will check out some of the upgrades. It just bumms me out that you spend nearly $200 on a new heli that works but needs to have another $200 in aftermarket stuff to make it work like you...

RE: CX2 servo linkage

Thanks Dopesick. Did the blade clipping actually work?

The flybar fix sounds good but the extended shaft seems that would put additional leverage and stress on the lower framework during a...

RE: CX2 servo linkage

Hi All,

Just looked at this thread. Great information. I used a gift card from Verizon to buy a new CX2 through Amazon. The certificate was restricted to only a couple stores. Not sure why I...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Hey Rsuty,

I also apologize for the late reply and appreciate you getting back to me. I have been trying to get in some wave time as we are coming up on this year's surfing competitions.

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Not Futaba, just the stock Tx and Rx. The crystals can be pulled from the Tx but not the Rx. But I have a feeling there is more involved than just switching a crystal and getting a new Rx.

RE: Walkera #4 Fixed Pitch Helicopter Forum

Drobin, maxmax,

Thanks, I figured I could just glue it. It does not look like anything is broken but somewhere along the line the two parts are no longer together. Perhaps in production during...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Rusty,

What would I need to do to convert my 72 to 2.4? There is interference in my area that is off and on and very frustrating. What do you have?

Thanks,
Harry

RE: Walkera #4 Fixed Pitch Helicopter Forum

I keep having problems with my stock, two part swash plate coming apart with minimal strong landings or the occassional crash. I then press them back together but sometimes do not see it until I am...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

I am running the G401B with the stock servo and it works great. One thing you might want to check is the switch needs to set to reverse if yours is on the stock mounting plate, behind the head. On my...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Osterizer,

I do agree with you, it is a bit distasteful, they should have named it somthing else. However, I have never used the Futaba gyro or even knew about it. All I learned was reading...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Found the discussion about the 401B. It was not on this site but here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=962227 I had googled 401 and came up with this discussion.

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Fairnot,

I ended up getting the 401 for $36. It seems to work great. I read about it somewhere on the RC Universe forum where a lot of guys tested it and loved it. I only have about 30 minutes...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

I know that we have just been through this but I believe my stock gyro is not working. Everything boots correctly but when I pick up the heli and move it side to side or twist it but the rudder servo...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Does your gyro start blinking AFTER the start up sequence?

I think one or more of your servos is too far to one side or the other. Be sure your servos are centered as well as your controlls...

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Rusty, I appreciate your comments. When I first saw it I thought it had a quality look. The price is definitely within a reasonable budget. How it sets up may be another story.

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Anyone ever try this 450 size Sonix head? It appears pretty nice for the price and not a copy.

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop

Osterizer, funflier,

Thanks for your input. I sort of thought the assembly I was looking at was one of the counterfeit units. I do have a lot of tools and like to tinker so retapping, cutting...
