redcat i forgot the model i think its the shock wave 1st run i bend the drive shafts the tranny stripped 2nd time after fixing it i went off a small curb and bent the chasis and the front shock tower...

they are both fun trucks but the nitro requires alot more maintainance and is a bit more costly to run with nitro around 30 or so a gallon depending what u run i agree with everyone on here start out...

make sure you dont go over the voltage the rusty is good on 2a 2 cell but dont go over a 3cell since your new i suggest a 2cell and get a decent lipo charger and make sure it has a accurate balancer...

if tuned right the .15 can be a decent motor thats what the first tmaxx had ive raced my old pede against a smaxx and won and a tmaxx 2.5 the rustler is a bit hard to handle imo i perfer the pede and...

i had a nitro pede they are really fun and easy to maintain i blew my diffs cause i put a 2.5 in it but i went back to the .15 and rebuilt the diffs and never had a problem again i wish i never got...

thers no point in replaceing the motor cause in a bit of time that one would be junk also and your gonna want a better motor anyway so instead of wasting time just get a decent motor now

the titans are junk its either a hit or miss keep the truck and get a good motor cause with a new truck its probbly gonna happen again you can get a nice motor between 25-35 thst would work great ans...

if you have the stock set up put that on and ballon the esc cause in the snow and ice a bl system is over kill or get a used xl5 water proof and a cheap brushed motor
