I'm converting a Guillows B-24 to electric and I'm wondering if there is any reason why a 4 in 1 quadcopter ESC wouldn't work for that? Seems like it could work but I need some expert advice. I don't...

RE: Electric Conversion Question

You'll need to determine how fast you want (or need) the aircraft to fly. I believe it's 2-3 times the stall speed. Once you know the approximate speed then calculate the rpm x prop pitch to get that...

RE: Please confirm Part #

I'm hoping you got that wrong. The picture shows a V2 swash I believe. It has the anti-rotation pin on the opposite side from the aileron & pitch. So the one you sell is NOT the one in the picture? I...

Please confirm Part #

Hi, I noticed you guys have what looks to be a V2 swashplate for the T-rex 450SE on sale. Can you verify part # T009 as to what version it is? I believe V1 has silver top half, V2 is all blue.

RE: How to set lights in a RC plane?

I guess I didn't make that clear uh? While I didn't say to connect the lights to your rec batt, I didn't say not too!. There are exceptions of course, I have the lights on an electric heli and...

RE: How to set lights in a RC plane?

LED's are best, they use very little current, are low voltage and last forever (as long as you don't hook them up backwards). To switch the lights on/off you'll need either a optical switch that...

RE: 921 receiver questions

Boy do I feel dumb. I guess I never really noticed that but I checked my other aircraft and they all move (except some digitals) at start up too.

Thanks Danny

RE: 921 receiver questions

I tried re-binding but it didn't solve the servo movement at power on. Still the same. The two lights on the 921 & on the satellite flicker at power on before turning solid. It is during that time...

I like it! I want to build a small one someday with the motor/gearboxes I get every time I buy another foamy. Mine was supposed to be an easy Sunday flier type that I could just have fun with and...

RE: B-24J project

Only hurts when my wife thinks about it! [X(] It cost around $2500 which isn't too bad really. The power system was about $1200 or so with the batteries costing $500. If I factor in the new JR X9303...

RE: New 9303 2.4 ..no smooth throttle plate!

RE: CEDAR HOBBIES NEW 125 INCH B-17 coming

How about a big B-24? No one makes those!

OK, B-17. Make it 138" and covered in silver. If someone wants olive they can paint it and then chip paint to look war worn. Make it easily...
