I don't know what SIZE batteries you need but if you are talking about small packs IB1400 and ELITE1500. I have had very good luck with both. I have beat, used, ugly IB1400 packs that still work...

I've got a buddy that had one and replaced it with a TP610C, if that is any indication. My guess is buy a Bantam (I use a Hyperion I love) as it is HIGHLY regarded and widely used here.

1/10 and 1/12 scale are much better drifters but that being said, my RC18R has the very THETOYZ dot COM PVC drift tires and they are SO MUCH FUN!!!

They are great on any fairly smooth surface up...
