Pinion keeps slipping off of motor shaft (FLUX)

I can't keep my pinion gear attached to the shaft of the motor! I tighten it down as hard as a can with blue loctite. Five mins later, it slips off!!

Any suggestions?

RE: Flux owners-leaky shocks?

I haven't yet. I did upgrade to the Aluminum Big Bore Shocks by HPI though. (BTW, I really don't see wasting your money doing this, the stock shocks are just fine, the aluminum just add more bling I...

RE: Savage Flux : Center Skid Plate

That won't fit. Read the fine print "Won't fit Savage X models" I believe the flux has the same layout as the "X" models.

Ditto. I took all but one spacer out on my shocks but I'm using 20 weight oil in my shocks. I also put some maximizer's and some Losi Zombie Max (which have a smaller side wall than the stock tires)...

RE: Savage Flux questions

You don't need to do anything to it. The Flux is a bad Mamba Jama straight out the box. Get 3S lipos though and some velcro ties for the battery box. And reinforce the roof of the body with some duct...

RE: Keep blowing out Slipper Clutch pads on FLUX

I just checked the nut and the nylon is completely melted out of it. It's not going to hold anything down. I'm off to the LHS to buy a replacement (a few). I'll let you know if fixed it.
