I'm not going to tell u to use it but i'll tell you what I've been doing. I've been using two puffed 3s 5000mah turnigy batts for about a year now. They both became puffed about 2 months after use...

RE: Great success. Make your own body shell!!!

Just an FYI, .080 polycarbonate is a little too thick, I've tried it and it doesn't work very well. I've since bought some .060 and it looks like it should work much better have not tried this...

RE: battery pack swollen!

I've got a couple 3s Turnigy batts that have been swelling a bit after running them, but the swelling goes down after they sit for a little while. The swelling isn't that bad but they are definitely...

RE: Rc8te

The motor is a revolver 9xl from kershaw designs, I had it in my brushless converted 13lbs savage xl and it moved it around pretty good without any heating issues, so it should handle the rc8te very...

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread

Just do yourself a favor and go straight to lipo. That ESC is capable of running 2s lipo but it doesn't have a LVC, just get yourself a low voltage cutoff alarm off ebay.

RE: quick blitz question

Yes it will work with a 2s lipo, and no it does not have a LVC. To solve your problem just get a cheap cutoff alarm off e bay.

RE: thunder ac6 problems

I had the same problem with my Ac6 and come to find out it was the balancing tabs that were shorted out. I quit using the chargers balancing and got myself an Astroflight Blinky to balance my packs...

RE: Associated RC8Te Official Thread

It's the Revolver 9XL 1845kv from Kershaw Designs, I had it in my Savage XL and it moved that 14lbs beast around pretty good so it should handle the 9lbs RC8Te with ease.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread

I'm using a Turnigy 3s 5000mah 20c and it fits in the battery tray nice and snug, but you have to cut out a little section of the battery tray.

RE: Associated RC8Te Official Thread

Well it's all went together pretty smoothly, all that was missing was one screw which isn't a big deal but other than that the kit looks nice and solid. Just wondering if any of you guys have run...

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread

Yup that battery will fit, but you will have to cut out part of the battery tray where the battery leads come out which isn't a big deal I had to do it myself.

RE: Associated RC8Te Official Thread

Ok cool I guess I'll just install them and see how long they last, in the mean time I'll keep an eye out for some CF towers.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread

Good choice for a cheap alternative to AM, I've been using mine for a couple of months with no glitching or range issues what so ever. I've had my firestorm so far from me that I couldn't tell if it...

RE: ez-run esc question

I'm pretty sure that the punch settings cannot be lowered on the 80 and 150 amp Esc's, I've never heard of the lower amp Esc having problems with punch settings. I've got a 60a, 80a and 150a, which...
