Yes wire drive shafts. They are like piano wire. Very strong and rigid and they greatly reduce friction.

Why doesn't my EKOS do 40 MPH as advertised??? Using 3S Lipo 40C 5000mah. Most I get is 28.2 MPH with the trim set at max positive thrust angle. ***!? Any suggestions for hop ups?

Rudyb... check out YouTube search for KOS. Mine runs great now that I have the Pro Boat wet pipe installed.

@ Venonmous... The pipes were as close as I can get them without the muffler being out of the hole in the hull. I would say about 3/16" apart. As I said before in the PM I'm sure there are no cuts......

xxxtcr... Try heating the Lexan with a blow drier or a heat gun if available. Let me know if that works for you.
