Just curious, is this for use with the blue Splash esc? If so, post if it works or not; I know Novak says it won't.

Best of luck to you. Given the time frames you mentioned, even in a fairly extreme emergency, you should have gotten some word by now, at least that is my opinion.

lol, nope it's not in training mode... I do put the VXL in training mode with both 2s and 3s lipos for them. I just got done driving with the a 3s lipo (not in training mode)... I wrecked so much I...

Well, then our slash doesn't go fast enough, because my kids hardly roll our stock Slash. We roll the one we put the VXL in, but the sock one stays up very well. We drive in low field grass, loose...

I have not driven a Stampede, but I know the slash doesn't roll over to easy while turning. I was afraid the Stampede might be more prone to roll, and I was afraid the Rustler might not have enough...

My 8 year old handles my Slash with no problems. I bought two, one for me, one for my son, but she (8 yr old daughter) has taken over mine... now I'm trying to decide if I want a third slash or...

i don't have my vxl manual handy, but the peak current rating was considerably less than the 15C rating of the batteries. I suppose if the voltage sag on LiPo's is that bad, well, that will suck.

Chris, are you saying the 15C batteries from TrueRC will be slower than the 4600mah NiMH batteries? I can't recall the numbers now, but it looked like 15C was higher...

lol, might be a way to avoid needing a lvc running with a stock esc... just buy a big enough battery so that you get bored before it runs out

Traxxas's response to me was to put in the VXL, and run it in training mode if I don't want the extra speed. They recomended fine tuning the desired speed with gearing... what a joke of a response. ...

maxamps has a note with their novac LVC that it doesn't work with the blue esc that comes with Slash. They have a Low voltage indicator in stock that beeps, but it's not a cutoff. According to...

I don't mind a slower charge rate than 1hr for a full charge, but the fact the hyperion stops charging it after 6000mah (my understanding per the above post) really sends me the other way.

The Rustler with VXL I'm not woried about, but the slash apears to be stock, and it sounds like he ran the 2s lipo in it.

Thanks for the comments. I sent him an email asking if he had a LVC on Slash, and what the mah ratings are on the LiPos.

will the hyperion charge at full charge current off the AC source? A person I work with bought an AC/DC charger, and when using AC power for input it will only charge at half of the max charge...
