I did not consider this area a problem because of your earlier statements about the braces so there should have been no need for tri stock. The airframe did not have any previous damage...

Braces on the horiz stab 79" Yak ?

Do you think the 79" Yak needs a brace on the horz. stab.? Maybe a Dubro 440 or something like that. I'm a little nose heavy. It might be just enough weight.

Arf 79" Yak received left wing broken rib

The Left wing has a broken rib @ the end of the wing tube about half way down the wing. There is no damage to the outside of the wing panel in this area but there is a significant ding in the area...

What is the wood used for the engine rails in the ARF 79" Yak? It looks like Pine. The standard is usually Hard Maple and the documentation list "hardwood rails"
