Team Blue Star has some heavy duty 1/8 scale style Axels for about 30 bucks a pair thease things are beefy about 1.5 times the thickness of the mip cvds check them out !

The newer clutch shafts can sometimes have burs on them or in the clutch bell its self.
1st remove the clutch bell and shaft lightly chuck the threaded end of the shaft into a drill and polish it...
