YS 45 THRUST

Any idea what a ys45 with tuned pipe turning a 10/7 prop at 16,000 rpm would have in pounds of thrust...I guestimate around 7 pounds. Does this sound right?

Compared to the 12lb variety turbines how does an MW 44 seven pounder sound? Has anyone heared one run?

Pull water off your wings

I wonder how hard it would be to make a device to to simulate pulling water off the wings like the real jets do when they pull high G's. Maybe just a simple valve that would open up under G force, to...

Some turbines have starter wands also. I think the Wren MW44 turbine uses one.

I was thinking about trying a 1200 mah Li Poly battery with my Hacker 12L brushless thats in my Sukoi 3D. Would that combo pull too many amps for the LI-Poly's

How's the flight carictoristics?

So do tell, how does the F-18 handle? does it seem to be a forgiving plane, say like the Avonds F-15, or do you realy have to be on your toes?

Fire Bat

I flew a freinds Fire Bat and it flew just fine. Just be sure to have the CG right were the instructions say it sould be. We had to add about 3 oz. to get it there though.I flew it with very little...
