I dont quite understand.....
The piston needs to be TDC, while the hole in the one cam goes stright down?? My cam does not have a dot, but a hole.

The old airplane that the Saito .40 was on was a Morris Hobbies Pen Knife. I would like to find a small float airplane or seaplane that this engine would fit, Any Ideas???

Thanks for the info, I ordered my replacement parts of the saito FA40a.
I should be able to get this engine running again.
By the way, I had mounted it sideways because it was on a profile...

Alright, My first Saito was a beautiful running engine untill I slammed it into a metal pole on takeoff, this metal pole hit the sideways mounted saito .40 right on the two push rod tubes & bent them...

My CG was at 5 1/4" had to add a little weight to the nose, still seemed tailheavy in the air, but that could have been because of the elevator trim was needing adjustment.

Well.... I had the chance to maiden her yesterday, however I was still breaking inthe engine so it was a very scary flight.
A 15 MPH 90 degree crosswind was present...
This airplane needed alot...

That onboard glow system looks slick, however Ive added extras along the way so i'm tring to keep the weight down. With that .91FX Im sure youll have power to spare.

I used a dremel with small tip attachments. It worked pretty good. I realy dont know the anngle, I just kept trial fitting then untill I was happy with the results.
I have had no issues installing...

If using a FM radio, where are you guys running the RX reciever wire?
I do belive that the manual said to run it thru one of the unused rudder push rod tubes & out the back. Is this going to work...

I used a Futaba S3107 Micro digital servo for the air valve, the lprecut mount hole was too big, so I made my own mount in its place. Adjusted the End Points & it works great. I userd the swivel ball...
