Trevor, I used skylite wheels. I used the nylon hubs but they do have aluminum. I didn't increase the axel size on mine I found a socket head machine screw that was the correct size. So far so good...

Yes it is. The airport was closed down last year but fortunatly we are still able to fly there.

I don't think everyone is using the recommended C.G. Mine balances on the spar where the outerwing panels slide together. It flies great there. I have G-62 no lead ballast.

crrcpro gf26i v2 would be a better choice the mounts would make it simple compared to cutting everything out and trying to glue a firewall in at the right angle.
