Fiberglass would be almost as strong as carbon fiber? I don't really care about the look of the part, just that it is aerodynamically trustworthy. If fiberglass will provide a good structurally...

I have been wondering about this. I recently purchased the art-tech f-18 RTF model which came with a 2.4Ghz transmitter and reciever. Unfortunately, I only got 3 flights before I crashed and burned....
