RE: A really dumb thing to do....

Reminisant of the Ni-Cd/Ni-Mh days. Starting around new years, cycle all my packs, and evaluate. Still applies here. Sounds like you have experiance in battery management. Lots could benifit from...

RE: Extending Servo Leads

Mike, all good advice.

Make the trip now, or you may be able to pick some up on your way to replace the airframe.
Short-cuts add up quick, making for predictable results.

RE: A really dumb thing to do....

Rob, Nice story.
(real life)
Not only did you get a nice warm fuzzy feeling about your transmitters duration. But you get a pat on the back (well from me anyways) for being just another human....

RE: Vailley Hurricane

You are not going to 3D this airframe. Balsa stringers will show everyone that has ever handled this airframe. They will get all beat up from handling/hanger rash.
Your choice, hope this helps.

RE: Charging a lawn tractor battery for the field box

Well going back to the original Question. I simply build a patch cord that goes from the Cigirrette lighter in my minivan to the back. Then attach my battery to it, charge on the way to the field...

RE: Servo on the way out?

Pat yourself on the back, smile and say what a smart fella you are for the upgrade. Beats the guilty feeling you would have had, should you have lost it. Now start looking for another airframe for...

RE: Issues with a Sig Riser 78

Are the tips squared off? Cut the tips up at a 45*. I've seen beginers miss this important aerodynamic detail. Yah, promotes roll.
Hope this helps,

I like Aeroworks airframes have, and have had quite a few. I also have the 50cc Raven. Marketed in Canada through Great Hobbies as their GH Air. I pre-reinforced the landing gear mount as I do to all...

RE: Oil spatter

If anyone is interested in the original post.

Paul, not much here to worry about. I too beleive what you are seeing is the amount of oil not burned, but lubricating your 150cc engine. Burning in...

RE: Servo on the way out?

John, when apart you should be checking that the pivot holes in the case are not becoming oblonged. I bought a 50cc airframe that had been flown with 5625 servo's on aileron duty. It worked for the...

RE: to use smartfly or not
