RE: CMP BF109F BUILDING THREAD

Not knowing the airfoil of the CMP Me109, washout(if any), your control throws and a half dozen other things not to mention not seeing the actual flight where it crashed I would say that to much...

RE: Flyeagle F18F

As long as you discuss what I want to discuss! [sm=bananahead.gif] Just ignore the controlling personalites on here, I like the info.

I'm really curious about how this thing flies, I've...

RE: COMP ARF 110" F4U ARF WITH FOLDING WING ASSEMBLY

Early F4U-1’s and early production F4U-1A’s had a retractable landing/taxi light under the left wing, this is easy to see on any drawing. It was replaced with an approach light in the leading...

RE: What Kit would you like to see brought back?

Nice choices, I sure liked my GP F-4. Flew it for several years and then sold it unfortunately. I have another in the box though and it's been sitting there for 10 years now! The fate of many kits!

RE: What is the point of Multiplayer?

Good points, I can see it turning into something at a later time for sure, not as is though. I used the head tracker feature and it works for looking around, but maybe in version 10.5! It seems weird...

RE: What is the point of Multiplayer?

Not really, but I thought it would be a good way to meet people and try some formation flying or something. The way it is though it has no point to it at all. It's not that hard to plug a mic into...

What is the point of Multiplayer?

I got Real Flight G4.5 for Christmas eve, updated it and downloaded all the free ad-ons. I love the old GP prop F-4, it flies just like the one I used to fly (sold it when I had to move). The turbine...

RE: Flyeagle F18F

I don’t think that applies in this case, that statement sounds a lot like early modeling, I remember in 1980 when Tom C did not add the inverted stab airfoil on his F-4 because he thought it would...

RE: Flyeagle F18F

Kevin, thanks and keep in mind that I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything, I’m just making an observation and I’ve presented some facts, all I’m asking is that you consider them....

RE: Flyeagle F18F

I've seen a few video's of this plane and it does not look stable and it flies like it's heavy with to much drag, but I think the worst part is...

RE: which country had the best fighter planes of WWII

The Me-262 was innovative but that was not your question, it was not the best fighter of WWII. The Me-109? It killed more pilots and more planes were lost in landing and take-off accidents than in...

RE: Spinning Aluminum Cowlings?

Very interesting, I wonder if a plug made with hardwood would work for at least a few cowls? I bet it would, I have a heavy duty wood lathe, just gets me thinking!
