Has anyone ever added a momentary push button in parallel with the toggle switch on say, a gear channel?
I want to puch a button to trip the trigger instead of flipping a switch and then flipping...

simple...
Rough up the outside lip of the muffler just a little.
(couple light passes with a file or even some steel wool)
run a thin bead of JB weld around the outside of the lip.
Let cure...

If the residue from running is mostly the unburnt oil, why not let it soak into the wook?

I don't know the model... but the weedie was a true weed-eater
green plastic case etc. The shaft originally had some do-hicky at the end that took the flex shaft to the weedeater head,...
