RE: More RPM from Homelite 26cc gas

I did try the 18X8, 18X4, 18X10. I could never get over 5000 so I strapped on the small prop to see if it could wind up on that. I had the compression tested (70#) and crank pressure tested for...

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

Hi all. I had a couple of "heavy" landings and in the process enlarged the holes for the landing gear wires. I cracked one of the supports as well. The repair of the cracked wood is very straight...

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

I have a temp probe that connects to my multimeter but the motors were barely warm to the touch. The ESC's were cool as well so should be good to go on that point. I will need to readjust my flaps...

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

I am using 4 5000mAH 4 cells. Two per motor, connected in series so I think that it would be 8 cell. They are feeding the E-Flite 110. I have an 85 amp ESC with BEC turned off and using a 2400mAH...

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

Yes they can be rotated. I have the smaller sets on my WM p-51. They are keyed I'll have to grind flat spots to keep them in possition. I hope that the 105 degrees is enough to get the nose wheel...

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

I placed one of the mains in the nose gear position just to get an idea of how the nose retract will fit. It will take some dremel work but it will fit I think.

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

I bought the E-flite 60 - 120 electrics on Saturday so here we go. I had to order the 60 - 120 105 degree from the website as it wasn't in stock in the Plymouth store. I'll get these installed and...

RE: ASM F-7F Tigercat

Well the E-flite mains are 5mm(.1968 = just over 3/16") and I beleive that the Robart struts come with a 3/16" adapter sleeve. If that split sleeve adapter can be drilled out they could work.
