RE: I think i'm going to get the HK-600gt help needed!

Best is to look at the specs for the Trex, and get something similar.

RE: I think i'm going to get the HK-600gt help needed!

Interchangeability - - up to a point. Depends on the model. For example, the head on the Trex 600 ESP is different from the original 600. I believe you will need 2 x 6S 3300mah batteries (total 12s)....

RE: I think i'm going to get the HK-600gt help needed!

You should have a look at the specs for the Trex 600. I have the HK 450 and HK 500GT. I have the Trex 450, Trex 500 and Trex 600 ESP. The 600 is way different than the 450 or 500. Much heavier...

RE: LAST WEEK choice

Be careful with the HK500GT. I have one, flies fairly well, but initially I had problems with the main gear to tail gear (there was a gap which would strip gears because Turnigy motor I got was too...

RE: TREX 600EFL Pro - Part Question

I don't have the FBL version, and didn't have that part. Looks like the main head for the feathering shaft. I don't know if you have two options?

RE: next heli after fixed pitch?

If you don't like Nitro, then stick with the 450 class helicopter. Nitro are not allowed where I fly because of noise. Even our club had to convert from Nitro to Electric. After the 7 minutes the...

RE: striped screw questions

I would use CA on the boom itself and fit it in. You might dril a hole a put a short screw to prevent the boom to slip back. Scratch the boom to get a good grip.

RE: Hk600 tail not holding

Check your belt tension for slippage. The tail gear will be harder to identify. Try to turn the main blades when you hold the tail.

RE: Hk600 tail not holding

Sorry, 780 are good gyros. Too fast on my iPad. I have used them with many digital servos. Chech the tail gear (front) I had some slip on smaller size HK helis

RE: Hk600 tail not holding

The 780 are good servos. I have them on 500 and 600 helis. I don't know if your 600 is belt or torque tube, but you might have some slippage somewhere. I had the tail gear slip on my HK 500. Also...

RE: Blade cp pro

I broke many landing gears on my CP Pro 2. Problem with that heli is also the tail motor. Had to replace it twice. Also, the fact that the tail is motor driven is not really the best. Belt or direct...

RE: very weird question

Seems to me that your transmitter is in idle up mode. That is the throttle curve is like a V or U, or even flat line at 100%. It is for 3D and allows you to fly upside down where the blade pitch...

RE: Flybar, has 2 flat places, what way up?

The slots are meant for the small screws to hold it so the flaybar doesn't rotate or slide out.

RE: 1 vs 2 batteries?

Haven't had a chance to run it through it's paces because of weather. Probably 6 minutes. I ran about 5 minutes, and still had some life in the batteries. Very similar to what the 500 would run on...

RE: 1 vs 2 batteries?

Two batteries. The motor requires 48.8V. I actually decided to buy it because I had an Align Trex 500 using 6S 3000 mah batteries. I only have to put two of the same batteries in this heli.

RE: 1 vs 2 batteries?

Hard to compare as it is quite different. Part not interchangeable. The head is completely redisigned, and you can really adjust it the way you like. Low center of gravity, top mounted motor, new...

RE: Are most of u e-flite blade owner self taught?

GoPro camera with anything smaller than a 450 is going to be a problem. Have you given a quadcopter consideration? I have a Gaui 330X with a GoPro hero camera on it. I also have a new Gaui 500X with...

RE: Are most of u e-flite blade owner self taught?

Money may not be being an object, but size matters. The bigger they are, the more stable they are, but they are also more dangerous. A 450 will hurt you, a 500 will mame you and a 600 could kill you....

Either call HorizonHobby or look for the BNF manual for the Blade 450. I assume it is a Blade?

RE: 450x goes out of control!!!!

Sounds like a low voltage problem for your battery. Should be around 12 volts fully charged. Trickle charge is around 10 hours. Have a look at this thread.

RE: Are most of u e-flite blade owner self taught?

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. You extend this to be the more agile they are, the more often they will fall. Using a simulator will become a common word for you when you get tired of...

RE: HELP !!!!!

Brain training. It's all about repetitive movements. Simulators are good for this. Young people learn quicker than older folks like me. But I did, and am able to fly helis. Some 3d, but that is still...
