RE: Aviation Design F-16

My nose retract rotates 90 degree's so that it tucks in flat. The nose retract I have was manufactured by a company in Florida. (I can't remember who) The mains are Air Magic. I redesigned my nose...

RE: New Rumor- FEDS SHOOTDOWN RC JETS

I'm not sure if someone has brought this up, but some airports host cart series/super-bike races (specifically one example-I think Cleveland BKL). Anyway, most if not all of my full scale flying...

RE: Do models fly like real planes ?

An F-16 when loaded for an attack mission with all or most of the hard points stored up actually becomes a little nose heavy and a very stable platform to deliver a weapon. After it drops everything,...

Leave him alone, he's an official Simpsons and Tmaxx freak!....lol This thread should be in the aerodynamics category or some place else. Not to High-Jack the thread, but speaking of speed and...

RE: Another Facet is born

Jerry, That should be an excellent airplane at this altitude. I'm flying an Aviation Design F-16 with a Jet Cat P-120. It weighs almost 34 lbs and I have my hands full landing it. F-16's in...

RE: LP battries for your Jet Cat ECU??

I am not too concerned with recharging the ecu battery after every flight. What I am concerned with is saving weight. Does anyone know about how much weight savings there are using Li-Po's? Call me...

RE: Model Afterburner?

It sounds like I need to move to Eureka, CA! I have to fly out at a salt flat 50 miles west of Salt Lake City (long drive). All the AMA fields close to my house are too small/unsafe for my jet:...

RE: Stabilators vs traditional aileron/flaps

That's what I'm wondering is how these servo's work. Like I said, I have two on each stabilator and that’s the redundancy that I have built in. I would feel more comfortable with ailerons on my...

RE: Stabilators vs traditional aileron/flaps

RE: Stabilators vs traditional aileron/flaps

I have an AD F-16 P-120. I have two powerful digitals on each stabilator. If one servo goes bad then the other servo is strong enough to push/pull the other servo as well as the stab. My problem is...

I've been flying model airplanes (just about every kind) for 20 years now. I've been to quite a few jet ralleys to see just what kind of skill level is involved for flying jets (paying close...

Well, I've thought of puting a 2 stroke/pipe set up. But I like the high torque 4 stroke. It seems that I can spin a higher pitch prop with the 4 stroke. If I can get a 2 stroke set up (swinging a...
