I finished my Hawk a couple of weeks ago. Flew it during Easter in Holstebro, Denmark. I just love this aircraft.

RE: Working on a F-35 Lightning II

Hi all.
Over the past year I have built a new F-35 from my molds, and finished it with nice paint job and some scale detailing. Here are a few pictures of the finished model from last weekends New...

RE: Comp ARF BAE Hawk build thread

Thanks, Dave. I ordered the sport landing gear from CARF. Maybe I can do something with the nose leg myself. [8D]

RE: Comp ARF BAE Hawk build thread

Thanks for the input. [8D]

Can anybody tell me if there is a good alternative to the sport landing gear from C-ARF. I want to do a T-45-like version of the Hawk with twin nose wheels.

RE: Comp ARF BAE Hawk build thread

Another question.
The carbon tube for the all flying elevater is oversize. I cannot find any procedure in the manual for this carbon tube. What is to be done with it?

RE: F-15 Rudders

Be aware that the rudders on an F-15 are VERY effective. I have flown the Avonds, SM and FE F-15's and would never use the rudders as a speed brake. On the F-18 the rudders are also very effective. I...

RE: F-18D Hornet

I usually have the CG on my aircraft a bit forward of the recommended CG. That's probably the reason why I have a different experience with mine. But I agree,- the Super Hornet takes some experience...

RE: Poll - Worst Jet Kit Manufacturer

Hello.
The poll is not really surprising, I guess.
I think that the worst part about some of the manufaturers is, that many of the issues we have with them, could have been prevented if they...

RE: Working on a F-35 Lightning II

Thanks Fritz.
I'm planning to move the CG forward by 50 mm (2 inches) and reduce elevator throw. We'll see after the next flight if I am able to cure the problem.

The gear mount on the nose gear and one main gear broke loose. It's an easy fix. I will fly it again this coming weekend.
