I used the 8T mitosal piniongears and shimmed with a couple of thin layers of tape. It didn't work out too good as the re**** was gearboxes noisy as h**l.Why not keep the hole at 2,3mm?? I contacted...

It might be a drawback. The bore is 2,5mm but it should have been 2,3mm. I didn't like them at all, to wobly.

That's what I've been thinking too. But Tamiya never produced 1:16 JT's :p
It doesn't bother me too much, but I'm curious if it could be fixed by pushing a few buttons.

Hi.
I just discovered that it's not possible to perform neutral turn with my Jagdtiger. (tracks running opposite direction aka HL "superspin")
It's not the transmitter (Futaba 4WD) as I'm sharing...

I've been building on this thing back and forth for two years now, lets see if I can dig up this thread.
It's based on a old Tamiya King Tiger. Actually I think this is one of the two very first RC...

I'm also running stock Tamiya motors in my 9kg Jagdtiger with no problem. It got 3:1 reduction to cope with the extra weight.

I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the bare inside. But thats exactly how I did it. And since this is a old version it was missing the inner mud guards, which I made new longer ones out of 3mm thick...

Maybe I will lower the front deck to get the correct proportions. I'm leaning more and more towards that.

Thanks! Actually the gearboxes are Tamiyas with 3:1 gear reduction. Impact is by far more noisy. It allready had new gearboxes when I bought it so this is what I got to play with for now.
