Have any updates been made that allow a receiver in scan mode to be reaquired after power down.Also not require rebinding after change to scan mode or back.

got it resolved, cable was not a swapped stereo cable, I swapped it, now it works.

I would bet on it. My dads system worked fine until he accidently pressed the range check button too long and went into scan mode, he changed it back to normal but now has a different channel...
