053 kills power, makes it smooth... look at a JP3, when ever you need power, JP3 is the pipe. run time wont be as good as 053 though....

its the first RC8 RTR i think it was called the RC8 RS, its the original one, they have had 2 more sense then, 3 if you count the upgrade kit. good starter buggy

automotive grease is ok for ring and pinion gears in the diff case, however, not all is ok with O-rings... use a LITTLE bit of blue lock tight on metal to metal only.

1/10th and 1/8th work with each other... IMHO you just want 250 oz/in of torque or more for steering in 1/8th scale.

mugen... serpent is loose, mugen is planted... also the harder you drive mugen the better it is.... serpent has to be driven really smooth and when its rough, hard to drive.

mugen all the way... driven serpent and worked on setup for a friend, we would get it working one day then go to a different track, and start over. also, it was loose or it pushed. and didnt work...
