The set screw at the bottom is to pull the sides in close for the shaft to fit close to the magnets, they wont move far enough to break anything.

I just perchesed a trainer with a 78.5 wingspan and it has a thunder tiger .40 glow in it and I can run it at a third throttle and it does great!!

WELL ramius, I ran a bull dozer in the copper mines outside of Tucson, and yes I have been told that RC flying is alot less threating than the real thing.

My bad, I was thinking that I had changed out the ESC when actually I had changed out the receiver,on some small helios the ESC and the receiver are built together therefore when you go from 72mhz to...

My understanding is that if you have a 72mhz transmitter then the plane had a 72mhz esc, so when I got the 2.4ghz transmitter I had to change out the esc to the same as the transmitter, anyone out...

I did get a 72mhz transmitter with my FMS, changed out the ESC and got a 2.4GH transmitter and away we go!!!!!!

Glad to hear your renewing you ticket, the 182 is a great plane to train with, although there have been some issues with it, nothing that can't be solved, as for your 8u,i have no idea, maybe there...
